How to Create a Yahoo! 360 Page

Posted by Alice Seba

Q. How do I create a Yahoo 360 page?

A. A Yahoo! 360 page is similar to Myspace and other social networking sites. It allows you to reach more potential customers with your marketing. Without going into great deatail here is how you set up a Yahoo! 360 page:

1. Go to www.360.yahoo.com and click the Get Started button.

2. You will be asked to enter your Yahoo! ID and password. If you already have a yahoo account, enter that information. If you don’t have an account, you will need to sign up for one by choosing the sign up for a new account link.

3. Once you’ve signed up, click the Start My Page option to begin creating your page. The first step is to create a nickname for yourself. If you already have a name set up with your Yahoo! account it will appear here but you can change it to something else if you’d like. Click the Continue button once you’ve chosen your nickname.

4. Next, you’ll be asked to choose a theme or background for your page. If you don’t like the options available, just choose one and you can make changes to it later. Click continue once you’ve made your choice.

5. This area allows you to add your interests and favorites. You can add as little or as much information as you wish and it can be edited later as needed. Once you’re done, click Finish.

6. The finally step takes you to your page where you can personalize your page even more. You will also post your blog messages here as well.

Whether it’s Yahoo! 360, MySpace or any other social networking place, using one can be great for business. One thing to keep in mind is that since you’re using it to promote your business, you should always conduct yourself in a professional but personable manner.
